Step 1

Here you can download the instructions on updating the instrument. Print the instruction below and have it at hand when updating.

• AL800 (SpectroDirect – Serial Number 400 or higher) »

Step 2

To update your PCSPECTRO II, SpectroDirect, TurbiDirect, MultiDirect or MaxiDirect you need the program HEXLoad. Please store this program on your PC in its own folder.

Step 3

Additional you need the following data file called „firmware“. Every type if instrument needs its own firmware. Please store the required firmware on your PC in the same folder as the program HEXLoad.

If there is a problem downloading HEXLoad or the firmware, please try to download the packed files (Zip-file); store the Zip-files on your PC and unpack them.

You need the following parameter list. Please store the Zip-file on your PC in its own folder and unpack it.

• Parameters V8a (valid from 10.11.2003) with new method “Aluminium with Powder Pack (30)” »

This parameter list for download contains new methods and all methods of previous versions.

Further on you need the program „Download methods“. You will find this program on the CD-ROM delivered with your PCSPECTRO. Please store this program on your PC in the same folder as the parameter list.
